Your child's safety is our number one priority
In between all classes we have a standard routine clean where all of the barres, equipment and floors are cleaned and disinfected. All staff have received the relevant coronavirus prevention training.
As well as our routine cleans between classes, we have a deep clean at the end of the week when all classes have finished. From door handles to locker doors to windows, everything is safe and clean for your children to return each week.
We have a thorough Covid-19 secure risk assessment provided by Alex Ralls.
As per government guidelines, we have taped two of our studio floors so that each student has their own 2-metre accommodated dance space, and we have social distanced spot markings in our third studio. We have hand sanitising dispensers outside and inside of each studio, and students are required to sanitise their hands before they enter the building.
In addition to this, all parent/guardians are required to complete a Covid-19 consent form in order for their child to attend our studios. By signing this, parents are declaring that their child and everyone in their household does not have symptoms of the virus, and have not tested positive in the last 14 days.
We ask that if you do need to speak to someone on reception, you wear a mask when entering the building.
You can see the safety measures we have implemented in the photographs below.
As we all know, with the ever-changing government guidelines at the moment, we can be in lockdown with just 24 hours notice. When this is the case, some of our classes are transferred to Zoom virtual classes. We did over 18 weeks of our training via Zoom in 2020, and it has allowed our students to stay fit and healthy, socialise with their friends and continue developing their dance skills.
Although 2020 was very testing for all of us, we still had lots of fun in our lessons!
